Time Frames
Using time frames, you can tell the system about the times when your office is open, closed, or celebrating a holiday.
Time frames do not go into effect until you apply a time frame to an answering rule or auto-attendant greeting. When the time frames are applied, the first matching time frame becomes active.
Recent Communications works closely with clients to determine each possible scenario that would deviate from your normal operating or 'Business Hours'. This is an important function upon implementing the system in order to accommodate for these 'special' situations throughout the calendar year. We work hard to ensure that logic for these scenarios are already in place so that you or your team will only be adjusting the date/time for this special situation.
Updating Existing Time Frames
To update a Time Frame, simply click on the link or pencil icon to the right on the listed time frame.
Select the + button in order to add a date and time.
Add the date or dates that you would like to apply to that particular time frame. Use the hour and minute sliders in order to define the times associated with the dates selected. In the example below, we've added dates and times to the existing 'Holiday' timeframe. For example, the "Holiday' timeframe and the associated routing will be in effect from 11/27 at 2:00PM through 11/29 at 11:59PM
