Integrations
Integrations
WebPop is a feature which opens a website when a call is received or initiated. This feature is most useful for CRM's or database software, but can be configured by Recent Communications for any website*.

*NOTE: Testing required in order to ensure full functionality.
Integrations Configuration
Your Recent Communication's engineers will work with you to understand your goals when it comes to integrating WebPop in to your team's environment.

Once your inbound and outbound preferences have been determined (based on the above variables), our team will start building out the custom code (below) in order to implement WebPop properly.

Based on parameters, multiple websites can be configured as part of your WebPop strategy. For example, the below code includes calls from internal users populating a page with the user's profile from the company directory, and calls from external users search for the caller in their CRM tool.

Integrations User Guide
ConnectUC Link is a companion application that extends the functionality of the platform via integrations, including the ability to support headset device call control and enabling the ConnectUC WebPop integration.
Installation
ConnectUC Link is available for download in the MacOS App store and Windows App Store. You can find links for both MacOS and Windows conveniently located under the ‘Integrations’ section of the ConnectUC settings menu.

Configuration

Once installed, when launching the application for the first time, you will be prompted to log in to ConnectUC. Please be sure to use the same username and password used to log in to ConnectUC.

After ConnectUC Link has loaded, you will be able to see recent call history and manage integrations settings for the connected account.

The connection status indicator found in the top right corner of the screen will display one of the following connection statuses:
-
UC Connected – Connected to ConnectUC
-
PBX Connected – Connected to PBX, but ConnectUC application was not found locally
-
No Internet – Unable to connect to PBX or ConnectUC
Inbound Calling

Once WebPop is enabled, a pop-up notification will appear for inbound/outbound calls (depending on set preferences).

The integration will search for the phone number within the website/CRM and can 'pop' the screen above once that record has been found.
Outbound Calling

You may initiate an outbound call from the recent call history page by selecting a contact and clicking the 'phone' icon.
Manage Integrations (WebPop)
To manage the WebPop feature for connected integrations, navigate to the ‘Integrations’ section at the bottom of the page and select the ‘Settings’ button. Selecting this option will allow you to manage WebPop for inbound and outbound calls (Integration must be enabled first).

To completely disable an integration, click the ‘Toggle’ switch to the right of the integration to ‘off’ status.

Preferences
To access ConnectUC Link Preferences, select the ‘Preferences’ button at the very bottom of the page.

ConnectUC Link Preferences allow the following:
-
Manage the Default Phone/Device for Outbound Calls

-
Manage the Default Headset/Device

We're happy with the new service and options we've gotten through the upgrade from our prior service provider and the service team is responsive and helpful. I'd definitely recommend them!

Prior to switching to Recent Communications, we had a large national VoIP provider for our business phone solutions. The biggest difference we experience is the true partnership and immediate response to any questions or support needs we have. It helps that they are local too!

As a current client of Recent Communications with two different companies, I continue to be impressed not only by their amazing growth, but by their ability to continue to service us like we are their only two clients!
