Recent Communications, Inc.’s Holiday Hotline Rings In Support for Simon’s Heart
Updated: Jan 17, 2020
Recent Communications, Inc., a regional full-service telecommunications company, kicks off the season with their second annual Holiday Hotline. From now until December 31st, individuals can call into the Holiday Hotline at 484-552-2180 to leave messages for festive characters including Frosty the Snowman, Buddy the Elf, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and Santa Claus, all while helping a heartfelt cause. For each Holiday Hotline message, Recent Communications will donate $5 to Simon’s Heart, a local nonprofit that is focused on protecting hearts and saving lives.
“What started out as a creative and festive way to showcase our range of telecom products and services, we are now using this platform as an opportunity to help a local, lifesaving nonprofit organization and one of our customers, Simon’s Heart,” said Charlotte Conroy, Managing Partner, Director of Marketing and Business Development, Recent Communications, Inc.
The mission of Simon’s Heart is to save the life of one child by raising awareness about conditions that lead to sudden cardiac arrest and death. Their goal is to reduce the incidents of sudden cardiac arrest and death in children by changing the cardiac standard of care to include heart screenings, and making AED devices more accessible in places where kids learn and play.
Of the company’s partnership with Simon’s Heart, Charlotte Conroy said, “Our Holiday Hotline gives individuals of all ages an opportunity to leave messages with their favorite characters while helping a lifesaving organization. Last year, we had many children call into our holiday hotline, with the help of their parents and guardians of course. The holiday season is a wonderful time to teach children about the spirit of giving and with that, we felt partnering with Simon’s Heart, a child-focused organization, was a perfect fit.’
